As Perkins&Will’s Director of Research, John helps to bridge research and academics with the global firm’s practice by collaborating with architects, urban designers, and planners—putting him at the forefront of emerging knowledge and technology in the AEC industry. He holds multiple degrees in architecture, design and computation, and civil and environmental engineering. However, he fell in love with architecture while taking a gap year skiing in Aspen and supporting himself by working on a construction site.
